Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 3: Hrithik Roshan's Latest Offering Is Trending Better Than Kaabil and Mohenjo Daro, Enters the Rs 50 Crore Club in the Opening Weekend
Super 30 is Hrithik Roshan's only release in over two years. The film was suppose to arrive in cinema halls in January this year. However, the release got postponed as filmmaker Vikas Bahl found himself in the middle of the #MeToo controversy.
And there is more good news for team Super 30. After getting off to a great start on day 1 and performing even better on day 2, the biographical drama starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead stormed the box office on day 3 as well. Yes, Vikas Bahl's directorial venture had a fantastic opening weekend as it reached the Rs 50 crore mark on Sunday itself. Super 30, which also stars Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi in supporting roles, released on Friday and mostly received good reviews from the critics. The film even witnessed good occupancy on the first day during the morning shows and from thereon there has been no looking back for Hrithik starrer. Adarsh also tweeted, "#Super30 now depends on weekdays to consolidate its status... Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 1: Hrithik Roshan’s Film Earns Rs 11.83 Crore on Its Opening Day
Interestingly, Super 30 has recorded the 6th highest opening weekend collection of the year as only five more films managed to surpass the Rs 50 crore mark in the first weekend. That's not all! It's also Hrithik's second biggest opening weekend after Bang Bang which had collected around Rs 62 crore in the first three days. If the Anand Kumar biopic continues to trend well on weekdays then it will definitely end week 1 on a strong note.
