Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 20: Hrithik Roshan's Movie Performs Much Better on Wednesday Than it Did on Monday and Tuesday, Surpasses Rs 130 Crore Mark
Super 30 is Hrithik Roshan's first collaboration with filmmaker Vikas Bahl and also with actress Mrunal Thakur. The film opened to good reviews on July 12 and is now enjoying a dream run at the ticket windows in India.
Hrithik Roshan's latest outing Super 30 is unshakeable at the Indian box office. The movie based on the life of mathematician genius Anand Kumar is in its third week and refusing to slow down at the ticket windows. After staying steady on third Monday and Tuesday, the biographical drama witnessed an unexpected growth on Wednesday as it raked in Rs 1.47 crore at the domestic box office, taking its 20-day total to Rs 130.14 crore. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30 is Hrithik's first release in the last two years. The good-looking actor was last seen in Kaabil which came out in January 2017. Coming back to the biopic, film trade analyst Sumit Kadel took to Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. He wrote, "#Super30 Third Wednesday Collection is more than its 3rd Monday & Tuesday. Film mints ₹ 1.47 cr nett on Wednesday. Total: ₹ 130.14 cr. Phenomenal trending speaks volume about the film quality. Eying ₹ 140-145 cr Lifetime Collection. SUPER HIT ."
Co-starring the very talented Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Tripathi in important roles, Super 30 came out on July 12 after being embroiled in few controversies. The movie was initially supposed to release in January this year and then on July 26. However, to avoid a clash with Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Judgementall Hai Kya, the makers of Super 30 shifted their film to July 12. Anyway, going by the current trend, Super 30 should continue to get cash registers ringing at the Indian box office despite a new film arriving this week. Yes, Sonakshi Sinha's Khandaani Shafakhaana is hitting the theatres tomorrow but Hrithik starrer shouldn't worry at all.
