Even though it took a weekend and a national holiday to do so, Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma's Sui Dhaaga Made in India has done really good business in its five-day run. Sure, the film's earnings fall short of expectations from a movie that has two big stars like Varun and Anushka in the lead. However, Sui Dhaaga is managing to draw in the family audiences, crossing Rs 50 crore mark at the box office, while taking advantage of the Gandhi Jayanti holiday. Sui Dhaaga Box Office Collection Day 4: Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma’s Drama Sees a Slight Dip, Collects Rs 43.60 Crores.

As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Sui Dhaaga Made in India has collected Rs 55.35 crore at the box office.  He had tweeted, "#SuiDhaaga takes full benefit of national holiday on Day 5 and hits double digits... Crosses ₹ 55 cr... Day 6 [Wed] - a working day, coming after a big holiday - is crucial... Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr, Mon 7 cr, Tue 11.75 cr. Total: ₹ 55.35 cr. India biz." Like Taran said, it is crucial to see if the movie holds on in the weekdays, as well as with the new releases coming out this Friday. For Aayush Sharma's LoveYatri and Ayushman Khurrana's AndhaDhun are also coming out this Friday, not to mention Tom Hardy's VenomSui Dhaaga Movie Review: Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma Bring a Lot of Charm To This Simple Tale Told in a Pleasing Manner.

Sui Dhaaga Made in India is produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Sharat Katariya. This is the first time that Anushka Sharma and Varun Dhawan are paired in a movie.
