Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Street Dancer 3D released on Friday after a heavy dose of promotions. The dance lovers are already loving the film for the performance and so are the die hard fans of Varun and Shraddha. However, the critics were not very impressed with the outcome of the film. Given to the fact that Remo D'Souza's previous dance films did good, this one was expected to join that bandwagon. However, it has collected lower than it was expected but still much higher than it's competiton at screens, Kangana Ranaut's Panga. On the other hand, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directed sports drama, Panga received positive reviews from the critics. However, we need to see whether a positive word of mouth helps this film mint money and reach the figures of that of Street Dancer 3D.
Speaking of the dance film, it also stars Prabhu Deva, Nora Fatehi, Aparshakti Khurana, Punit Pathak, Salman Yusuff Khan, Raghav, Dharmesh in the lead. The film is set in London and revolves around two rival dance groups from India and Pakistan. It has to be seen how much does the dance drama manage to collect on the first weekend. Stay tuned!
