Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor's film 'Stree' looks quite promising. The horror comedy directed by Amar Kaushik is getting all kind of positive response. Now, the makers dropped a romantic track from the film namely "Nazar Na Lag Jaaye". The number looks beautiful visually and has peppy beats. Not to forget, Ash King's voice melts like honey in this Sachin-Jigar composed song. The raw use of harmonium suits the best to this composition. However, the lyrics, written by VAYU could have been better. Since the whole set up is desi, we would love to hear lyrics without the English words popping up here and there in this wonderful composition.

Going ahead with Shraddha's look in the song, she looks gorgeous in this track. Her kohl-laden eyes and traditional attires make her stand apart on the screen. Rajkummar Rao is as usual at his best. His expressions and dialect remind us of his roles in 'Bareilly Ki Barfi' and 'Kai Po Che'. Also, the whole set up is that of a brightly-lit fair (Mela) which keeps us hooked to the screen.

This is for the first time that we are seeing Raj and Shraddha doing a film together and so their pair looks refreshing. The chemistry in this track looks promising and that makes us anticipate their pairing in the rest of the film.

The whole film is based on the question 'Who is stree?', the one who is scaring off the people from the village. The trailer compels us to doubt that it is Shraddha herself who is the ghost, who apparently visits the village only during melas. In this song too, you can see a hint, where she says that does not have a mobile phone and that if Rajkummar has to talk to her, he should just 'remember' her. Well, we liked the song and now we are waiting for the actual release of the film. Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & DK, Stree will release on August 31 this year.
