Stree is doing some wonderful business at the box office. In its second week run, the movie has been doing not-so-slow but definitely steady business at the box office. The movie stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead. While it has already become Rao's highest grossing movie of all time as the lead (beating Kai Po Che aeons ago), there is a very good possibility Stree can also become his highest grossing movie of all time (by beating Talaash's Rs 95 crore box office returns) as well as be his first Rs 100 crore movie. Not Stree, This Aamir Khan Film is Rajkummar Raos Highest Grossing Movie Till Date.

In its second weekend, Stree has dominated over both the new releases in Bollywood, beating Laila Majnu and Paltan in the process. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie has collected Rs 21.90 crore at the box office in the second weekend, thus bringing its total earnings to Rs 82.29 crore. He had tweeted, "There’s no stopping this one... #Stree continues its DREAM RUN... Overpowers all new *Hindi* releases by a huge margin... En route to ₹ 100 cr Club... [Week 2] Fri 4.39 cr, Sat 7.63 cr, Sun 9.88 cr. Total: ₹ 82.29 cr. India biz."

Taran further broke down the business of Stree in more of his tweets,

Stree is directed by debutante Amar Kaushik and written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of Go Goa Gone fame. Thanks to the positive reception of the film, the makers have already announced the sequel to the film, with the main cast returning.
