Standup Comedian Slams Sunny Singh's Ujda Chaman Trailer For Copying His Salman Khan Joke

Bollywood as a whole is changing and how! From actors taking up challenging roles to filmmakers moving towards content driven cinema, we are loving this new change. Having said that, while the industry is booming with each passing day, a recent report proves that Bollywood still needs to learn a lot. Coming to the point, on Tuesday (October 1), a stand-up comedian namely Vinay Sharma accused the makers of an upcoming comedy film of plagiarism. In his post on the micro-blogging site, Sharma wrote, “Been getting messages since yesterday. Writers of Ujda Chaman have simply lifted 2 of my jokes without permission/credits. I wonder what precedence it sets for Bollywood. Just disappointing and sad.” If you see the clip in the tweet, two jokes of the comedian are copied and one of them involves Salman Khan.

After accusing the makers, Vinay also posted a message in favour of the film's writer and requested one and all to move on.

Apart from Sunny Singh as the protagonist, Ujda Chaman also stars Maanvi Gagroo, Saurabh Shukla, Atul Kumar, Grusha Kapoor and Sharib Hashmi in key roles. The film has been directed by Abhishek Pathak and written by Danish J Singh. It is slated to release on November 11.
