Sridevi's Post Mortem Report Out! Cause of Death Finally Revealed
Now that the report has been released and that there is no suspicious matter in the case of her death, Sridevi's family would be allowed to bring her mortal remains back to Mumbai for cremation.
After hours of wait, the Dubai Forensic Department have finally revealed the post mortem report of actress Sridevi, who passed away on Saturday evening. She was just 54. The initial reports had claimed that cause of death happened to be massive cardiac arrest. However the post mortem report reveals more details about the cause of death. As per a report in Khaleej Times, it is accidental drowning that caused Sridevi's death and it was cardiac arrest that led to this.
The report in Khaleej Times also mention that alcohol was found in her blood, though there is nothing unusual about it. After all the actress was in Dubai to attend a wedding (Mohit Marwah's). The report states, "Sridevi drowned in her bathtub following a cardiac arrest, the report has confirmed. Traces of alcohol were found in her blood, the report further adds. Social workers are working with the family members to complete the procedure of repatriation - the cancellation of passport, issuance of death certificate among others. Once all the documents are collected, the family members will be handed over the body after submitting the documents. The family is hopeful that the body might be ready for repatriation within next one hour. "
