Sridevi's Funeral: Rajnikanth, Chiranjeevi and Many Other Top Stars From South Film Industry are Expected

Bollywood has lost its shining star Sridevi to cardiac arrest in Dubai. While the entire country is mourning the loss, the actress was also a superstar in the South. Naturally, her Southern co-stars are also grieving and will come to pay their last respect to the beloved co-star. Superstar Rajnikanth, who had worked with Sridevi in several movies has already arrived in Mumbai. Along with Rajnikanth, other top stars from the Telugu industry are also expected today. Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Bharathiraaja, K Raghavendra Rao, Ambareesh, Prakash Raj are some of the actors who are expected to be present. The actress's body will be flown in today and the funeral will be conducted today evening.

The actress had gone to Dubai to attend the wedding of nephew Mohit Marwah with Antara Motiwala. While her husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi Kapoor, returned back to India, Sridevi decided to extend her stay. Looks like she was totally enjoying the festivities there. In fact, her last pictures and videos from the wedding showed how hale and hearty she was. It is thus still difficult to believe that she is no more with us. The film fraternity already started gathering at the actress's residence since last evening. Arjun Kapoor was among the first ones to arrive. Karan Johar too rushed to be Sridevi's elder daughter Jhanvi Kapoor. Jhanvi had not attended the wedding because she was caught up in her film schedule.
The actress was last seen in the film Mom opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui. But fans will get to see her one last time in a cameo in Anand L. Rai's Zero. The actress did a good comeback post her marriage with English Vinglish and once again delighted all her fans who missed her screen presence. India's first female superstar will always be missed.
