In a heartbreaking moment for all Bollywood fans, popular actress Sridevi passed away last Saturday in UAE. Sridevi was in the country where she was attending the wedding of Mohit Marwah, nephew of husband Boney Kapoor, along with her family members. She was found dead in her bathtub by her husband and her postmortem reports mentions that she died of 'accidental drowning'. Her funeral that happened a couple of days saw a huge attendance by both the masses and celebs, who arrived to bid adieu to one of most beloved screen legends. She was cremated with full state honours with her body draped in the national flag.

Her surviving family members, husband Boney Kapoor and daughters Janhvi and Khushi have gone to Rameshwaram to immerse her ashes in the sea. As per a report in PTI, the ashes brought by Kapoor in a special aircraft will be taken to holy island of Rameswaram today and immersed in the sea there, airport sources said.

Sridevi, who was last seen in last year's revenge drama Mom, was eagerly anticipating the release of Janhvi's debut movie Dhadak, which is coming out later this year. Sridevi's own last screen appearance will be in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, where she has a cameo playing herself.

After her demise, Boney Kapoor wrote a post where he reminded everyone how dear Sridevi was to him and his daughters. He had written, "Losing a friend, wife and mother of two young daughters is a loss inexplicable in words. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers and all of you countless fans of my Sridevi who have stood by us like rocks. I am blessed to have the support and love of Arjun and Anshula, who have been such pillars of strength for myself, Khushi and Janhvi. Together, as a family we have tried to face this unbearable loss."

Like her family, even we will miss Sridevi. Forever!
