Sridevi's 55th Birth Anniversary: Janhvi Kapoor Shares a Throwback Pic with Mommy Dearest

Had Sridevi been alive today, she would have turned 55-years-old. Born on August 13, 1963, Sridevi was and will always be one of the finest actors in the film industry. On her birth anniversary today, Sridevi's daughter Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to share a throwback pic with her mommy dearest. We all know how attached Janhvi and Khushi were to their mother and it goes without saying, that today, the girls must be extremely emotional remembering their mother.

Talking about the pic Janhvi shared on Instagram, she chose not to caption it. The pic was taken long before Khushi was born and looks like the Sridevi, Janhvi and Boney were out on a vacation. How lovely would it have been to have Sridevi among us today. The actress passed away in an unfortunate accident on February 24, 2018 this year apparently because of accidental drowning.

The death of Hindi cinema’s first female superstar left the country in a massive state of shock. The entire nation mourned the death of Sridevi as she died in Dubai. Boney Kapoor and his daughters, Khushi and Janhvi have been really strong all this while, still trying to cope with her loss. Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, Sonam Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and everyone else from the Hindi film industry attended Sridevi's funeral.

On her 55th birth anniversary, all we can do is reminisce the roles she portrayed onscreen and gave us characters that will remain with us forever. We miss you, Sridevi.
