Sridevi's last co-star Akshaye Khanna who worked with her in 'Mom' came to the Lokhandwala club to pay the tribute. Earlier, in an interview, Sridevi had said, "I used to meet Akshaye on the sets of Chandni while working with Vinod, but I never imagined that I would ever work with him."

Legendary Bollywood actress Sridevi's death has left her family, friends and  fans in a state of shock. The diva who had flown to Dubai for a family wedding, accidentally happened to drown in the bathtub and the fans are not able to come in terms with her sudden departure. After interrogation process, the mortal remains of Sridevi were brought to India, yesterday night. As the funeral will take place today in the afternoon, the fans and the industry people are flocking outside Celebration Sports Club in Lokhandwala to bid her goodbye for one last time.

"On behalf of Khushi, Janhvi, Boney Kapoor, the entire Kapoor and Ayyappan families, a sincere thanks to the media for your continued sensitivity and support during this emotional moment," the statement read.

The cremation will take place at around 3.30 p.m. The last journey will commence at 2 pm from Celebration Sports Club to Vile Parle Seva Samaj Crematorium and Hindu Cemetery.  In an elaborate announcement, the family said the body will be kept at Celebration Sports Club in Lokhandwala for people to pay their last respects before it is taken for cremation.

Celebs like Salman Khan, Mohit Marwah, Arbaaz Khan, Urvashi Rautela, Sonam Kapoor, Anand Ahuja were one of the first few who visited the venue to pay their last respects to the late icon.
