Easter Sunday morning of April 21 turned out to be an unfortunate day as multiple explosions were reported in the Captial city of Sri Lanka. Reports inform that the explosions took at six places across the nation of which three were Churches and the other three were hotels. The horrific attack has left over 129 people dead and over 400 people have been injured. Condemning the attack and mourning the loss of people, Bollywood actress, Jacqueline Fernandez who is Sri Lankan by origin took to Twitter to express her grief.
The actress tweeted saying, "Extremely sad at the news of bombings in Sri Lanka. It’s unfortunate that one is not able to see that violence is like a chain reaction. This has to stop!" Jacqueline who is in Los Angeles was spotted a few days earlier, gracing a Broadway show. She even caught up with Bollywood colleague, Priyanka Chopra, at the venue. Sharing pictures post the meetup, Jacqueline uploaded a post on Instagram with “Queen P” and American singer-songwriter and actress, Orfeh.
