Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi has become the talk of the tinsel town since the time it was announced. Helmed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi is the fourth installment in filmmaker-directed popular cop film series - Singham and Simmba. Bankrolled by Rohit and Karan Johar, the film is slated to hit the theatres on Eid 2020. Only in May, Sooryavanshi team kick-started the shooting in Mumbai, post which the crew had flown to Bangkok to shoot for Akshay’s introduction in the film. Today (July 1), Akshay, who will be seen performing a high octane stunts chase sequence in Sooryavanshi, shared a BTS video from the sets.

Yes, on Monday (July 1), Akshay Kumar, who will be seen playing ATS (Anti Terror Squad) chief Veer Sooryavanshi in the film, took to the micro-blogging site to give us a sneak-peek into some "unadulterated action" from the sets of the film. Sharing the video, Akshay wrote, "From the day acting became my destiny, action has been my lifeline. Pure, unadulterated action in #Sooryavanshi will tell you’ll why it still fires up my core 🔥"

Talking about the stunts he shot for the film, Akshay recently said in a statement, "I always have a lot of fun doing my own stunts. Rohit is anyway a class apart when it comes to action in his films. And doing these bike stunts on the streets of Bangkok was extra special," further adding, "Many years back I would ride a bike in Bangkok to deliver food. Now I am doing the same all over again, to earn my food."

On the professional front, Akshay has his kitty full with some big-budget films. The actor, who was last seen in Kesari, will next be seen in Raj Mehta's Good News alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan after almost a decade.
