Soni Razdan has been always pretty much vocal about the burning issues in the country. When asked, she gives the on-point and unbiased answers to the questions hurled at her. During the trailer launch of her upcoming flick, No Fathers in Kashmir, she once again voiced her opinion on trolling. She spoke at length on how the netizens troll the celebs for their opinion or silence on any ongoing patriotic topic. The trolls also go ahead calling them 'anti-national' at times. However, Alia Bhatt's mother is pretty much against such trolling, which she also says is a common thing on the internet. Speaking of the issue, Razdan said, "I feel, if I criticize my country, it's not because I don't like my country, I love my country. That is my patriotism. I want to make it a better place for my children for everyone. And if we don't look at what's in front of us, and we allow things to get out of hand because of other vested interests. Then as citizens are not doing a good job."
Not just celebs, but even every citizen of the country has the right to point out what's wrong or right, she feels. Pushing away the responsibility on the public figures alone won't help for the betterment of the nation. Hence, she says, "Forget being an actor-director, we as citizens have the responsibility to make the country a better place. And that doesn't mean advertising other people's agendas it means looking at what is wrong and making it right."
While many of the celebs have rather taken diplomatic stance on subjects, the actress was straight to the point with her opinion. Do you resonate with Raazi actress' comments? Tell us in the comments section below.
