Tanushree Dutta has opened a can of worms. The Aashiq Banaya Aapne actress recently made shocking allegations on actor Nana Patekar of sexual harassment on the sets of Horn Ok Please in 2009. She made these statements when asked about the #MeToo movement in the industry. After her revelation, the B-town celebs have come out in support of her. After Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Masaba Mantena and others, Parineeti Chopra, Sonam Kapoor and Twinkle Khanna support the actress.
Parineeti tweeted, "I agree too. Survivors are survivors because they have dealt with something and come out on the other side. So believe them, respect them. @janiceseq85 #TanushreeDutta." Meanwhile, Veere Di Wedding actress Sonam took Twitter to write, "I believe #TanushreeDatta and @janiceseq85 recollection of the account. Janice is my friend, and she is anything but an exaggerator or a liar. And it’s upto us to stand together." Also actress/author Twinkle Khanna too lent support to Tanushree saying, "Please read this thread before judging or shaming #TanushreeDutta a working environment without harassment and intimidation is a fundamental right and by speaking up this brave woman helps pave the way towards that very goal for all of us!"

If my previous tweet sounds vague let me clarify it. This should stop the questioning of intention of Tanushree Datta because there is a witness account of what happened and @janiceseq85 is as credible as the come .

Looks like Bollywood has finally got its own #MeToo movement. It is probably for the first time that the celebs are openly speaking up against an actor and showing the support to other. After the movement in Hollywood against producer Harvey Weinstein, here is B-town geared up for its own fight.
