So while we were dealing with our weekday woes at work, Sonam Kapoor was busy watching a Lakers game with Mindy Kaling! Before we delve into details of Sonam's awesome night, here are a few things you should know. Sonam Kapoor along with husband Anand Ahuja chose to take a trip to Los Angeles because they were feeling romantic. During their LA rendezvous, they decided to go watch a Lakers game, their first such match.

Sonam even posted an adorable picture with her husband and captioned it, "Someone is feeling SUPER excited today 😂 Enjoying my first @lakers game at @staplescenterla in @discoverLA. Go Lakers #ComeFeeltheLove #everydayphenomenal". Interestingly, they bumped into The Mindy Project actress, Mindy Kaling! Needless to say, there were a series of selfies and photo shoots that was not about the Lakers game but about Sonam and Mindy! After much hard work done by Anand, Sonam finally found one picture good enough to be shared on her Instagram.

Even Mindy joined the fanfare and tweeted their picture stating, "Had the best time meeting the gorgeous and hilarious @sonamakapoor and her husband @anandahuja at the game last night 💛" This received a response from Sonam who added, "You’re the best, my girls back home are freaking out."

Wow, talk about epic nights, this one takes the cake! Arjun Kapoor also commented on the picture and stated how he "wanna be @mindykaling she's the best." Sonam will next be seen alongside father Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Juhi Chawla and Akshay Oberoi in Shelly Chopra's Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. Film releases on Feb 1.
