Sonam Kapoor Dresses up as a Bride for her Wedding Invite - Check out Pic
The Kapoors welcome you to be a part of Sonam and Anand's Big day!
We were among the first ones to bring to you a photo of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja's wedding invite and now, we have got something more in store for you. There's a picture of Sonam, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor that's doing the rounds on social media which is apparently attached to the e-invite. Sonam looks as gorgeous as ever as she is dressed up as the bride with sister Rhea and dad Anil by her side. We wonder why her mother, Sunita Kapoor went missing from this picture. Anyway, the actress, who has worn a red coloured lehenga with golden embellishments on it and a yellow and orange dupatta to go with it, looks royal and regal in this avatar.
"We request the pleasure of your gracious presence at the wedding ceremony of Sonam and Anand," read Sonam and Anand's e-invite which was all over the internet last night. Sonam and Anand will tie the knot between 11 am to 12: 30 pm which will be followed by a royal and lavish lunch at Rockdale, Bandstand, Bandra. In case you're wondering why the couple opted for an e-invite, a source close to the couple was quoted saying, "They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant E-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones."
Rumours about Sonam and Anand getting married on May 8 were doing the rounds since the last two weeks. The Ahujas and Kapoors finally confirmed the wedding when they released an official statement about the same. The statement read: "The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thanks & Regards."
