Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are finally married in a private wedding ceremony in Mumbai. The two lovebirds tied the knot in a traditional Punjabi ceremony that was held at Sonam's aunt Kavita Singh's residence. The Kapoor's were the gracious hosts welcoming the guests to bless the lovely couple. Speaking of lovely, how beautiful Sonam Kapoor was looking in that red bridal dress? Anand Ahuja looked quite regal in the sherwani and the due looked so much in love together as they exchanged vows.

After the wedding was over, the married couple had a change of outfit, which was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony. And that was no ordinary wedding cake. It certainly owned that quirky Kapoor sense of humour when it comes to the icing. The icing had a bride in the wedding dress dragging her groom on the floor. Interestingly, there is a basketball net on the cake too. Is that a cryptic hint to Mr Ahuja? Just kidding!

The sangeet and Mehendi ceremonies took place in the last couple of days. From cousins - Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi, Mohit Marwah, Arjun Kapoor to Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Rani Mukerji - B-Townies attended Sonam and Anand' wedding functions. The reception would be held in the evening at The Leela.
