And the wedding madness begins! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are all set to tie the knot on May 8 this year and the functions are going to start soon. Sonam's best buddies in B-Town, Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan and cousins Arjun Kapoor and Anshula arrived at the Kapoor residence tonight as they started prepping for the sangeet. A video of the entire team performing on a song is doing the rounds on social media and well, it has only got us even more excited about #Sonamkishaadi!

Sonam's beau Anand Ahuja too arrived in Mumbai this evening. And guess what? As soon as Anand landed, the couple immediately went on a house hunt. So we are guessing that the rumours about them buying a house in London post marriage are false?

As far as the marriage is concerned, rumours about Sonam and Anand getting married on May 8 were doing the rounds since the last two weeks. The Ahujas and Kapoors finally confirmed the wedding when they released an official statement about the same. The statement read: "The Kapoor & Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam & Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives. Thanks & Regards."
