The actress recently returned to India after being treated for cancer at a hospital in New York. The fans who were rooting for the actress to return to the screen, here is some good news. The first TV commercial featuring Sonali Bendre since her return is out now. The commercial, designed by a mosquito repellent brand, launches an initiative urging mothers to stop feeling pressurised under the expectations of perfection. A brave campaign. No wonder Sonali was picked to be the face of it, in whatever capacity.

In the commercial, a woman is seen talking about how she almost lost her son to dengue. She says that she realised then that she is a mother but she can't be expected to know everything. The commercial has only been out for a couple of days and it is yet to be seen how India will react to it. You see, motherhood is an extremely sensitive topic here around.
