Talking to Instant Bollywood, Poonam Dhillon said, "I wish Sonakshi all the very best. Bohot pyara invite bheja hai usne. I have known her since she was a little girl. I have seen her entire journey. I pray to God she stays happy. She is a lovely, warm, loving girl. So I wish her all the joy and happiness." Poonam then looked at the camera and smiled, adding, "Please keep her happy, Zaheer. The couple will reportedly have a registered marriage on June 23, followed by a wedding party. A day back, the couple's digital wedding invitation also went viral on the internet. Styled like a magazine cover, the invite read, "We are finally making it official. The rumours were true, so come celebrate with us at Bastain At the Top on 23rd June, 2024, 8:00 pm onwards."
