Sonakshi Sinha To Romance Akshay Kumar in Housefull 4?

Sonakshi Sinha and Akshay Kumar made a really good pair in Rowdy Rathore, which also happens to one of their biggest hits. They also delivered another hit in Holiday, though they fail to create the same magic with their other releases, be it Joker and Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai Dobaara. But the pair needs a chance again, and so if the rumours turn out to be true, we will get to see both Sonakshi and Akshay in a movie soon

As per a report in SpotBoye.com, the actress is in talks with the producers of Housefull 4 to play one of the female leads in the movie. The report quotes a source saying, "Sajid Khan and Sonakshi are working out the dates which are in combination with the other stars of the ensemble cast. She should be coming back to the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment office with a final confirmation in a few days.” However, there is no official confirmation on this.

Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in the 3-D comedy, Welcome To New York, which failed miserably at the box office.

As of now, only Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani are officially confirmed to be a part of the movie. Other actors from the franchise like Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Chunky Pandey, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez et al are also in talks to make a return here. There was also a report that Bobby Deol was considered for a role in the movie.

Sajid Khan is all set to return as a director to the franchise, after staying away for the third movie (which was directed by Sajid-Farhad). As per a report in the Quint, producer Sajid Nadiadwala has claimed that it would be the most expensive Housefull movie made till date.

Housefull 4 is slated to release on Diwali 2019.
