Mumbai, 5 July: Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera, which released on 5th of July 2013, marked a turning point in both Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh’s career. Based on Last Leaf, a short story by O. Henry, the film got rave reviews and both critics and audience were impressed by the lead pair. As the film clocked six years today, both Sonakshi and Ranveer shared glimpses from their Lootera journey on their Instagram accounts, and revisited some fond memories. When asked about what the film meant to her, in an interaction, Sonakshi said, “Lootera has been one of my most special films till date. I don't look at it as a film but as a magical experience. There is nothing that I would change about the film except that I would want it to release year after year! I am so proud to be a part of it and to have worked with such an amazing team.”

Since the actress was all praise for the team, when asked if she would like to work with Ranveer again, she said, “I would love to work with Ranveer again... I'm so proud of him as one of his earlier co-stars and as a friend! Sona is currently busy with shooting of in Bhuj: The Pride Of India which is a story about Bhuj airport during 1971’s Indo-Pak war and Dabangg 3. She will be seen next in Khandaani Shafakhana in which she’s seen talking about sex-education and Mission Mangal where she’s be seen playing the role of a scientist.
