Sona who has been vocal about the #MeToo movement has been constantly taking a dig at celebs, alleging sexual harassment accusations. Well, the 43-year-old has been trolled for putting a series of pictures donning a monokini to which Sona has given a befitting response. Sona Mohapatra had shared a post across social media platforms in which she is wearing a black monokini. Her post read, “Wild & Wanton. 2020, here I come.” It did not take much time for netizens to put up comments that also included ‘wearing slut clothes & then saying #MeToo’. Sona has lashed out at trolls once again. She again shared a series of photos and wrote, “I shared some last evening & ppl wrote in saying “wearing slut clothes & then saying #MeToo ?! “. Some felt let down, “thought you were a serious person?!”. Many sent ❤ & 🔥. Besides that, the singer also got involved in a Twitter spat with celebrity hairstylist Sapna Bhavnani. Sapna in one of her tweets (without taking any names) wrote, “also tired of women posing in skimpy clothes and thinking its #feminism .. that shit is tired ... would love to see some new perspectives #2020 ...” To this post Sona Mohapatra instantly responded, “Maybe so in the place you come from & had the privilege to grow up in Sapna. It is not so ‘liberal’ in most parts of our country & the world in fact. So let people do their thing. You do yours. Running down others, women & their acts of defiance, saying ‘shit’ doesn’t befit you.”
