In the wake of MeToo movement, several shocking names came forward for being involved in harassment against women. One of the big names in the music industry was Bollywood composer Anu Malik. The Indian Idol judge was accused of harassment by several female singers and one of them to come forward and take his name was Sona Mohapatra. Recently, Anu Malik took to Twitter to share a post about these accusations stating that they are false and also questioned as to why these allegations surfaced now when he's back on Television. The composer wrote that he has daughters and can't imagine committing such crimes. The outrage started over Malik's return to the popular singing-reality show Indian Idol 11 as a judge despite all the MeToo allegations. Sona who was one of the few people who called out the makers of the show for bringing Malik back, once again took to Twitter, this time to respond to Malik's tweet.

She tweeted saying, "Anu Malik finally wrote back to all of us last evening. My response to him, next to his letter. In case mine is too long to read, have also attached a shorter, crisper one, one amongst many on my timeline. Thank you @KallolDatta for saying it better. "

She also wrote in her post, " You could always take a break. Go to a sex-rehab or counselling or somewhere to reflect on how to behave better. She further added, " The show must go on. Without you. Not just Sona Mohapatra designer Kallol Datta also came in support of Sona and lashed out at Anu Malik's post on the MeToo accusations. Let's see if the makers of the singing reality show take an action after all this.
