Sushant Singh Rajput will be seen playing a dacoit in Son Chiriya, for which he had been shooting in Chambal Valley. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. Bhumi's look for the film was out some time back and she will be seen in a completely different avatar this time. The actress was seen in a saree with a rifle on her shoulder. The film is set in the 1970s. The release date of the film is also out now and it will hit the screens on 8th February 2019. Sushant looks unbelievably badass in Son Chiriya.

Sushant surely has his plate full of movies. The actor will be seen in Kedarnath opposite Sara Ali Khan, who will making her debut with the film this year. He is also working on Chanda Mama Door Ke and the Bollywood remake of The Fault In Our Stars. In fact, Sushant recently even became a proud owner of a piece of land on the moon. We are quite excited about the actor's upcoming films, Son Chiriya in particular. According to reports in several portals, Bhumi learnt the local language, Bundelkhandi to play her part in the film perfectly.

The film has been directed by Abhishekj Chaubey and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. In fact, Sushant was Abhishek's first choice for the film. Both, Bhumi and Sushant, have learnt the local language, perfected their dialect and bonded with the locals a little bit as a part of their research for the film. What are your thoughts on this?
