Simmba Song Aankh Marey: Wait, Did Arshad Warsi, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor Hint at Golmaal 5 in This Ranveer Singh-Sara Ali Khan Song?

Damn, Rohit Shetty is plugging both his hit franchises in Simmba, starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan, to boost its popularity! From the trailer, we found out that Simmba was set in the same universe as Ajay Devgn's Singham, and Devgn even makes a cameo towards the end in the role of Bajirao Singham. Now the makers have released the first song of the movie, which is the remix of the '90s hit Aankh Marey (from the movie, Tere Mere Sapne, picturised on Arshad Warsi and Simran Bagga). Simmba Trailer: Ajay Devgn's Singham Cameo in Ranveer Singh's Film Promo a Smart Universe-Building Move or Lazy Piggy-Backing?

To pay tribute to the old song in more than being a mere remix, they even brought in Arshad Warsi to shake a leg, and he was not alone. He also brought in some of his Golmaal gang members, Shreyas Talpade, Kunal Kemmu and Tusshar Kapoor, to jive in with Ranveer and Sara. Ajay Devgn's absence is understandable because in Simmba, he is already playing Singham and therefore it would create a lot of confusion if he comes up as Gopal! Simmba Song Aankh Marey: Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan Make For a Dynamic Duo in the Remix Version of the 90s Chartbuster - Watch Video.

While the song was okay, the presence of Golmaal stars was a smart quirk. However, it's a scene in the song after they came in that caught our intrigue. In one frame, we had only the Golmaal stars look at the camera and gesture 'five' with their fingers. Like the below -

So what are they hinting at? Is there going to be a Golmaal 5 in the offing? Considering that we have had four movies in the franchise already.

The last Golmaal film, Golmaal Again, was the biggest hit in the franchise collecting more than Rs 200 crore at the box office. And the audience is not tired of seeing another Golmaal film. So Rohit Shetty, kindly let us know when we can have the next!
