It was time to deliver something original for the Simmba team when it comes to the music. The first two songs, "Aankh Marey" and "Tere Bin", were a recreation of yesteryear hits. Thankfully, the new song, "Aala Re Aala Simmba Aala", is an original track and is all about celebrating the persona of the film's protagonist, Simmba, played by Ranveer Singh. "Aala Re Aala" is composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics by Shabbir Ahmed. Dev Negi and Goldi have sung the track, that could either be Ranveer Singh's intro song in the film, or the moment when he changes from a corrupt cop to a good one. Ranveer Singh's dance moves feel like he is paying a tribute to Govinda. Simmba is also the second film for Sara Ali Khan, who made her Bollywood debut with Kedarnath earlier this month. The movie is an official remake of Jr NTR-starrer Telugu film, Temper. Ajay Devgn is also having a cameo in the film, reprising his character from the Singham films. Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar are jointly producing Simmba, that is scheduled to release on December 28.
