While Vicky Kaushal's Uri: The Surgical Strike has had a terrific week 1, Ranveer Singh's Simmba had to struggle a bit on Thursday at the ticket windows. Both Uri and The Accidental Prime Minister, which stars Anupam Kher and Akshaye Khanna, have affected its collection. However, the Rohit Shetty directorial still hasn't stopped minting money in India. Co-starring Sara Ali Khan, the cop drama is slowly eyeing to enter the Rs 250 crore club. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to microblogging site Twitter a while back and announced the updated figures. Simmba Box Office Collection Day 12: Ranveer Singh's Film Roars Loud, Enters the Rs 200 Crore Club.

He tweeted, "#Simmba got affected by new releases, but still has an outside chance of nearing ₹ 250 cr if it maintains the rhythm... [Week 3] Fri 2.60 cr, Sat 4.51 cr, Sun 5.30 cr, Mon 2.87 cr, Tue 2.29 cr, Wed 1.31 cr, Thu 1.18 cr. Total: ₹ 232.49 cr. India biz.."

Adarsh then wrote, "#Simmba biz at a glance...Week 1: ₹ 150.81 cr, Week 2: ₹ 61.62 cr, Week 3: ₹ 20.06 cr. Total: ₹ 232.49 cr. India biz. BLOCKBUSTER. #Simmba benchmarks...Crossed ₹ 50 cr: Day 3, ₹ 100 cr: Day 5, ₹ 150 cr: Day 7, ₹ 175 cr: Day 10, ₹ 200 cr: Day 12, ₹ 225 cr: Day 18. India biz."

With Uri currently ruling the box office and three new films arriving in theatres today - Emraan Hashmi's Why Cheat India, Arshad Warsi starrer Fraud Saiyaan and Govinda's Rangeela Raja, surpassing the Rs 250 crore mark at the domestic office seems like a task for Simmba at the moment. But since the film has surprised everyone and outperformed at the BO nothing looks impossible for Ranveer's latest outing. Uri: The Surgical Strike Box Office Collection Day 7: Vicky Kaushal's Film on Its Way to Becoming a Blockbuster, Has a Fantastic Week 1.
