The Rohit Shetty directorial, which released on December 28, has got cash registers ringing worldwide and how. While the film is inching towards the coveted Rs 200 crore club at the domestic box office, overseas the cop drama is eyeing to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark which means more good news for team Simmba. The film has already raked in Rs 72.88 crore at the overseas box office and is still going rock steady. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to popular microblogging site Twitter to reveal the overseas collection of the Ranveer starrer. He tweeted, "#Simmba nears $ 10.5 million at the end of Weekend 2 from international markets [Week 2]Fri $ 683k, Sat $ 793k, Sun $ 583k...Total: $ 10.467 million [₹ 72.88 cr] #Overseas."
At the Indian box office, Simmba has so far minted Rs 190.64 crore and become the third highest grossing film of this year after Sanju and Padmaavat. With no big releases this week, it pretty much likely that Ranveer and Sara's film will continue its golden run at the ticket windows without any trouble.
