Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan's film Simmba is in its fourth week and still minting money at the ticket windows. While the cop drama, directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar, is eyeing to surpass the Rs 250 crore mark in India, overseas the film is now inching towards the coveted Rs 100 crore club. Despite failing to wow the critics, Simmba has managed to have a fantastic run at the box office courtesy Ranveer's acting. Interestingly, the film has also become the actor's highest grossing film to date. Simmba Box Office Collection Day 19: Ranveer Singh's Film Surpasses Lifetime Collection of Chennai Express, Mints Rs 227.71 Crore.

So far Simmba has raked in Rs 236.80 crore at the domestic box office which is mighty impressive. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to microblogging site Twitter and announced figures. He wrote, "#Simmba [Week 4] Fri 66 lakhs, Sat 1.22 cr, Sun 1.85 cr, Mon 58 lakhs. Total: ₹ 236.80 cr. India biz."

As for the overseas collection, Adarsh tweeted, "#Simmba crosses $ 13 mn from international markets, after Weekend 4... Inches closer to ₹ 100 cr mark #Overseas... Total till 20 Jan 2019: $ 13.034 million [₹ 92.80 cr]... USA+Canada has performed best, nears $ 5 mn mark."

Simmba, which has surprised everyone with its box office business, has achieved quite a few milestones as well. The film has gone past the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's 2013 blockbuster Chennai Express. It has become Rohit Shetty's 3rd Rs 200 crore film and 8th consecutive Rs 100 crore film which is outstanding.
