Simmba is on a rocking form at the box office. The movie has easily entered the Rs 100 crore club within 5 days of the release, taking big advantage of the last weekend of 2018, and also the New Year's holiday. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Simmba has collected Rs 28.19 crore on Tuesday, taking the advantage of the holiday. This brings the domestic earnings of the film to Rs 124.54 crore. Which makes Simmba Ranveer Singh's second Rs 100 crore grosser of 2018 after Padmaavat, which in turn is his highest, earning about Rs 300 crore in India. Overall, this is his fourth Rs 100 crore movie, also including Gunday and Bajirao Mastani. Simmba marks the first movie collaboration of Rohit Shetty and producer Karan Johar. Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar had cameos in the film, the former reprising his role of Bajrao Singham from the Singham films and the latter, teasing his upcoming film with Shetty, Sooryavanshi, that is to be shot in 2019.
