Marjaavaan seems to be finding it difficult to stay put on an announced release date. It was supposed to release on October 2 but looking at War, the makers pushed it to November 8. Later, it got further pushed to November 22 which led it to a clash with Ayushmann Khurrana's Bala. The latter then took the November 8 seat. The recent development reveals that Marjaavaan has been now advanced to November 15 while Bala will keeps its November 8 date. Apparently, this move was done because T-Series and Maddock Films share a great repo and they want to do this for each other. Well, that's all very kind but we couldn't shake of the feeling. We wonder if this was done to avoid a clash. Ayushmann has become a big box office draw with his situational comedies making a lot of moolah. He has been consistently doing well and thus, a clash with his movie could affect Marjaavaan.
Bhushan Kumar shifts release date of #Marjaavaan... Reason: Dinesh Vijan's #Bala is scheduled for release on 8 Nov 2019... Since Bhushan and Dinesh have collaborated on several movies and share a great rapport, #Marjaavaan will now release one week later: 15 Nov 2019.

But we agree clashes are never great for business. Screens get shared, audiences get divided and no one gets a clear majority. With these two films averting collision, they would be able to make the most of it at the box office based on merit.
