Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year. The film was a box office hit and Sid shot to fame instantly. Well, he did have a series of hits and flops after it, but looks like now Sid is all set to experiment with a South film. As per reports, Sidharth Malhotra is going to collaborate with Marjaavaan team for his next film that is a Telugu remake. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Milap Zaveri directorial Marjaavaan, which tanked at the box office. A source revealed to Mirror that Sid would be reuniting with Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani and Milap for his next. The source was quoted as saying, “Recently, Bhushan approached Sidharth with a new action film which is being scripted by Milap. Sid has shown interest in the subject and the makers are working towards developing the script further.” Sidharth Malhotra Says If I Had the Means I'd Have Produced 'Shershaah'.

The source also mentioned, “The new film with the Marjaavaan team will go on the floors towards the second half of the year, after the script is locked and a director is brought on board. The makers are completing formalities pertaining to the remake rights.” The film will reportedly be produced by one of the popular producers of south, Dil Raju. Meanwhile, Sidharth Malhotra recently wrapped up the shooting of Shershaah, in which he is sharing screen space with his rumoured girlfriend, Kiara Advani.
