Siddhant Chaturvedi Confirms One More Project, an Action Entertainer with Farhan Akhtar's Production House
After Bunty aur Babli 2, Shakun Batra's next with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday and a horror comedy with Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi confirms his next with Excel Entertainment.
Siddhant Chaturvedi is going places and we mean every word of it. After his smashing debut with Ranveer Singh's Gully Boy, where the boy was able to steal the thunder from RS himself, the actor is busy signing his next projects and they all belong to different genres. After bagging a dramedy in Bunty aur Babli 2, he was quick to sign his romantic thriller with Deepika Padukone and Ananya Panday. He also has a horror-comedy with Katrina Kaif and now we learn about his fourth outing with Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment.
Siddhant in his new conversation with Miss Malini confirmed his next outing with the production house that launched him in Bollywood. Speaking about same he said, "There is an action film which was supposed to happen first but then Bunty Aur Babli 2 happened. The action film is my passion project. I have been trained in Taekwondo, martial arts, 5 saal jab kuch nahin tha, yehi kar raha tha. Train hi kar raha tha khudko. I wanted to do action on-screen." He also remembered the time when he would train with Tiger Shroff. The Baaghi actor was then prepping for his B-town debut. "I remember when I was training, Tiger (Shroff) was just going to be launched, and he was training too and would jump and go higher than me. While he would come with an entourage, mere saath mere Juhu beach wale pantar the. He would come with mates and I would train on the ground." The same action project is very sleek and stylized. Ask him why he allowed Bunty aur Babli 2 to go on floors before and he explained, "We planned (action movie) it 3-4 months after we wrapped Gully Boy but then Bunty Aur Babli 2 had to do at the right time because next year is YRF’s 50th anniversary."
With as many as four projects in his kitty, the boy is determined to own the next couple of years in Bollywood. Well, it's surely the time our B-town hunks start being wary of this new blue-eyed boy.
