As per the latest media report, a source was quoted saying, "The character is of a small town boy and the makers wanted to take an actor who can pull off the character with ease. The makers wanted a relatively fresh face and after doing the rounds of auditions, Jitendra fitted all the bills. Although he has not signed on the dotted line yet, he is the one," reports pinkvilla.com.

Earlier, Sonam Kapoor and Regina Cassandra portrayed the same-sex relationship and the aspects around it in Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga. The audience lauded the attempt and demanded more such path-breaking subjects in Bollywood. We need not tell that to Ayushmann Khurrana though! The man has literally chosen the unconventional roles since his debut (Vicky Donor)! So, yes, we are totally looking forward to this one cinematic treat. The film is directed by Hitesh Kewalya and presented by Aanand L Rai and is Valentines Day 2020 release.
