The much-awaited trailer of Shraddha Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput's Chhichhore has finally got a release date. The date chosen for the release fits the bill of the 'friendship' theme of the flick perfectly. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial is slated to release on August 30.

It seems, they have found it in the upcoming Friendship Day. On August 4, the makers will release the much-awaited trailer of the flick. Interestingly, the Nitesh Tiwari directorial is all about the friends and their long-running friendship. As reported by DNA, the director was quoted saying, "Chhichhore is a light-hearted tribute to relationships and a large chunk of it revolves around the friendship that is unconditional, unapologetic and timeless. I couldn’t have asked for a better day to show a glimpse of this friendship to the world." The film shows seven friends bonding from 1992 to the current year and the incidents during this journey. The film has been in the news for one more reason and that is the big 'Shraddha vs Shraddha' clash. With this flick is releasing Prabhas-Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho too. The multilingual film has an ensemble star cast moreover with Shraddha in the lead again. Hence, the fans cannot help but pit both the films against each other. It has to be seen if one of the films gets pushed further or they decide to take on the box office battle. Also, it is important to note that both the films are of entirely different genres, thus, dividing the audience. Meanwhile, the trailer of Saaho is not yet released. Chhichhore is slated to release on August 30 this year.
