Shraddha Kapoor was announced as the main lead in Saina Nehwal biopic long back and ever since then, the actress has been working on the project. However, recently there were rumours that the film might have been shelved because the makers are not apparently very happy with the acting skills. However, neither the makers, not Shraddha ever comment on it until now.

In an interaction with a section of the media today, Shraddha Kapoor was quizzed about the upcoming biopic that she is a part of. To which she said that she is still training for the film and that it has NOT been shelved. So, all those of you, who have been wondering if the movie is going on floors or no, you have the answer now. We hope this will put all rumours to rest.

In other news, Shraddha is on a promotional spree as her next film. Stree is up for release in August. This is the first time she has been paired opposite Rajkummar Rao and not to forget, will be seen playing a witch in the film. She is also going to be seen in Prabhas' Saaho and Batti Gul Meter Chalu and post that, the actress is expected to resume working on the Saina Nehwal biopic.
