While a video of the actress' heated argument with the journalist is going viral, social media has been buzzing with opinions. If Kangana's comments created any less uproar, her sister and spokesperson Rangoli Chandel's tweets have been making even more noise. Both Kangana's comments at the event and Rangoli's tweets seem to have landed the Judgemental Hai Kya actress in trouble. After the media fraternity asked Kangana Ranaut to apologise for her remarks, they stated that failing to do so, they will be boycotting the promotional events involving the actress. Last night, the Entertainment Journalists' Guild of India issued a letter to the film's producer Ekta Kapoor stating their stand.
"We, as a guild, have collectively decided to boycott Ms Ranaut and not give her any media coverage," the delegation of journalists said in its letter to Ekta Kapoor, adding that the boycott will not affect the film or the rest of the cast, which includes actor Rajkummar Rao. Twitterati has been divided into two sides as fans of the star are supporting her decision to not apologise while a section of users agreed with the journalists stand. Recently, fans of Kangan decided to show their support for the actress after they started tweeting in her support with the hashtag 'We Stand With Kangana Ranaut'. It all started after Kangana accused a journalist of starting a smear campaign against her when he approached her for a question at the Judgemental Hai Kya song launch event. No other celebrity including Kangana's co-star, Rajkummar Rao who was present at the event have commented on the same.
