We are hearing a lot of Shamita Shetty these days. She can be seen as one of the contestants on the ongoing season of Khatron Ke Khiladi on TV. And that is only the beginning of it. She recently stunned the social media by sharing a birthday wish that Avengers stars Chris Hemsworth sent for her. Today, she was being talked about on social media for allegedly being rude to a fan. The moment captured on video by the paparazzi is going viral on the internet. Shamita can be seen looking displeased with a female fan's request for a picture. The actress was tagged 'rude' by many. Now, she hits back.

Shamita took to her Instagram page and shared her side of the story. She talked about an aspect of picture requests by fans that we don't know of. "Feel sad today," she wrote, "Nobody really understands the state of mind of an artist,"

She revealed that she is suffering from a slipped disc and was rushing to attend an emergency. She added, "I don’t want to get into details of that but I still complied with a photo to my fans waiting there but it was taking so long that I was getting impatient (sic)"

She further said that she was only helping the fan get the correct lighting for the picture. "I’m falliable as I’m a human being and do hurt. We all have bad days.. maybe that was mine.. That doesn’t make us bad people.." she concluded.

Feel sad today ... ...Nobody really understands the state of mind of an artist .i was rushing out of the place with an emergency to attend too, with a slip disc in my neck .. I don’t wanto get into details of that but I still complied with a photo to my fans waiting there but it was taking so long that I was getting impatient...I can’t walk around with a board that I’m under medical treatment for a very painful neck slip disc but try to keep a smile on my face & did take pic n helped her take the pic as she was struggling with the right lighting .Im aware as celebrities we are constantly judged especially in the world of social media where it’s very easy for people to say things ..I take it in my stride but there s no need to hit below the belt..it’s because I cared that I still took those photo s . I love my fans n respect the love and admiration they give me and that will always be a constant in my life !! In the normal case I wouldn’t want to clarify but felt the need to this time . I’m falliable as I’m a human being and do hurt. We all have bad days.. maybe that was mine.. That doesn’t make us bad people.. Sending you all positivity , love and light .🙏♥️

So, that is one perspective we all should be aware of as fans. Next time you spot a celeb and ask them for a pic, think again. BTW, do you think Shamita was being arrogant in the video? Or do you think she was just having a bad day and dealing with her in her own way? Tweet to us @latestly.
