In 2014, Shahid Kapoor acted in Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider and won heart all over. Not to mention Filmfare award for Best Actor. But, sadly, he followed up it with doing Shaandaar - a movie no one has a clue what to make out of -next year. In fact, the movie was director Vikas Bahl's next after the pathbreaking film Queen, which makes it existence all the more confusing. How come someone coming out of movies like Haider and Queen make a Shaandaar together?  Well, Shahid has expressed his disdain for the movie himself in a chat with Jitesh Pillai for Famously Filmfare. The actor said he wishes he had not done Shaandaar. We just want to tell him - Welcome to the club.

Shaandaar paired Shahid opposite Alia Bhatt and honestly, that was the only thing that worked in the movie's favour. While talking on the chat show, Shahid was asked which movies he wishes he hadn't done and he replied, "Shaandaar being the first in that list," Shahid Kapoor is 'Happy Happy' on the Sets of Kabir Singh - See Pic.

He added two more names to the list and said, "Chup Chup Ke maybe I wouldn’t want to do and maybe Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi ---because I think it was trying to be an international film and we didn’t have the kind of expertise to do that kind of computer graphics.”

Well, thankfully, Shahid did Udta Punjab with Alia after Shaandaar and the movie undid the damage for both of them. As for Vikas Bahl, it is a whole different story altogether.

But again after, Udta Punjab, Shahid did Rangoon which was again a disaster. But thankfully, he saved grace with doing Padmaavat next, which turned out to be a huge hit. But he did Batti Gul Meter Chalu after that and we are sort of seeing a pattern here. His next film, Kabir Singh, will surely be a blockbuster.
