On the personal front, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, who got married in 2015 and had their first baby girl in 2016, are all set to welcome their second child. Talking about being a father, Shahid earlier told news agency PTI, "Fatherhood has brought a lot of change in me as a person and as a human being. I am less self-oriented now... I have a family and a kid. I want to be part of my child's growth. I want to be with her in each and every moment. The whole experience of being a parent has been beautiful and life-changing."

On the professional front, Shahid, who was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus Padmaavat, will next be seen in 'Batti Gul Meter Chalu' opposite Shraddha Kapoor. the film is slated to release on September 21, this year. Watch this space for further updates.
