Shah Rukh Khan's Zero Cast Just Got Bigger With R Madhavan Joining In!
Jimmy Sheirgill is also reportedly having a special appearance in the movie as well.
We don't know if they will be working together for the Vikram Vedha remake, but we will see them together on the big screen soon, thanks to Zero. R Madhavan has joined the cast of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie, and he has already begun shooting for the film in the US. This move also reunites R Madhavan with his Tanu Weds Manu Director Aanand L Rai, who is quite happy to have his favourite actor on board the film.
The director had first confirmed the news, when he had shared a picture of himself with Madhavan (above) on his Twitter timeline. He had captioned the picture as such, "It’s #3YearsOfTanuWedsManuReturns and feel so happy to shoot with My Maddy our Manu in US for #zero #friendsforever @cypplOfficial". Later, we saw pictures of some birthday celebrations during the shoot that had both Madhavan and SRK clicked in the same frame.
As per certain reports, R Madhavan is having a cameo in the movie. And he is not the only TWM alumni to do so. Jimmy Sheirgill is also reportedly having a special appearance in the movie as well. Jimmy had played Shah Rukh Khan's younger brother in Karan Johar's My Name is Khan. Interestingly both Madhavan and Jimmy had often been compared to Shah Rukh Khan during the early part of their careers.
It is not just these two who have cameos in the movie. Zero also has Salman Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Deepika Padukone, Karisma Kapur, Alia Bhatt and the late Sridevi in cameos. Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will play the female leads in the movie, that is scheduled to release on December 21.
