Bhartiya Janta Party's first president and three-time Prime Minister, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, has passed away on August 16. He was 93. The entire nation is mourning his loss, with top politicians, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reaching Vajpayee's resting place to show their respects. Those who couldn't do so, mourned the demise of the revered politician on social media and asking for his soul to rest in peace. Celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn etc have offered their condolence for the passing away of the late politician.
Shah Rukh Khan also shared an interesting, heartfelt note on the demise of Vajpayee. If you are not aware of this, Shah Rukh Khan had starred in a music video in 2002, Kya Khoya Kya Paya, that was based on a poem by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Sharing the link of that video, Shah Rukh Khan talked about how his father used to take him as a child to attend Vajpayee's speeches in his early days. SRK revealed that in the years ahead that he got the chance to connect with the leader on a personal level and they talked about poetries. He even said that they used to call Vajpayee, 'Baapji' at home and that he has lost a part of his childhood hearing this sad news.
