The King of Bollywood has been the ultimate inspiration for all the aspiring as well as the established artists. Through his films, speeches and other projects, he proved that he deserves more accolades and appreciation. Keeping this in mind, the Jamia's AJK Mass Communication Research Centre, where SRK studied,  applied to the government for honorary doctorate Jamia Millia Islamia for the star. However, the HRD Ministry declined the request. THIS Picture of Karan Johar Is Proof That All Is Well Between Him and Shah Rukh Khan – Here’s Why!.

As per a report in Indian Express, the rejection came in after the three months of application for the same. The reason cited for the rejection was that the Badshah of Bollywood already received an honor similar to this by Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU).

"It has been observed that Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad has already conferred Honorary degree on Shri Shahrukh Khan in December 2016. Therefore, a view has been taken that two doctorate degrees for the same person would not be in order, " says the reports sent by the HRD Ministry.

Well, honor or no honor, the superstar already has the biggest honor in his store that is his huge, huge fandom and love of fans. His last film, Zero, was a nice cinematic experiment by Aanand L Rai. His character as a vertically challenged person, Bauua, won the critics. However, somehow the flick got warm response at the ticket windows. He is now gearing up as the baddie in Farhan Akhtar's Don 3. We can't wait to see him create magic on the silver screen.
