The Pulwama attack is still so fresh in our minds and it's hard to erase this bitter memory. The attack that claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF Jawans will go down in Indian history as a disturbing chapter. And to pay an ode to our nation's heroes, Shah Rukh Khan has recently joined the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and others who have shot for a tribute song, 'Tu Desh Mera.'
As per a report in Times of India, SRK shot for his 4-minute long video in a Mumbai studio last week and the makers were extremely touched with his gesture. The report states how the makers had approached the Raees star to be a part of this tribute song and he was grateful to be a part of it. Speaking about SRK's inclusion in the project, Abhishek Mitra, MD of the Happy Productions said, "To say that we were excited by the prospect of Shah Rukh Khan joining us for the video is an understatement. He was travelling that week and was quite busy. We are grateful that he took out the time to shoot for the video. We shot Shah Rukh’s part of the video at the Mehboob Studios in Mumbai after midnight.” The video was earlier supposed to release on CRPF day but was postponed due to some reasons. Now we hear the song's teaser will release on Independence Day and the entire video will come out in the latter part of the year, the release date of which is not out yet.
