In his recent interaction with DNA, SRK revealed Aamir will play the role of Krishna in Mahabharata and that's something that we knew and saw coming. The actor has always been vocal about his fascination for Karna but since he doesn't have the right body to play the part, he'll be Krishna instead. And while we wonder if the actor is ready to splurge a huge amount on this movie, reports suggest that his team is developing Mahabharat as a seven-part web-series.

In a recent media interaction, writer Anjum Rajabali revealed why Aamir couldn't give his nod to Rakesh Sharma biopic, Saare Jahaan Se Achcha and the role eventually went to Shah Rukh Khan. Aamir Khan will be flying to America with his team to ideate and adapt the story. The series/movie won't have any known actors as the TOH star wants all new and fresh faces. He earlier said in an interview that he is keen to make Mahabharata but is afraid of starting the project.
