A fresh trouble has surfaced for superstar, Shah Rukh Khan. As per the latest reports in moneycontrol, the Income Tax Department has challenged an order that gave relief to the actor regarding the alleged benami property issue. It is reported that King Khan is the first and one of the high profile celebs whose case has been filed under the Benami Property Act. For the uninitiated, a strict amendment was made in the law in 2016, in order to put a check on the tax evasion through Benami property.

The case came into the light after District Collector Vijay Suryavanshi asked for legal advice on the 87 farmhouses across the coast of Alibaug with regards to Coastal Regulatory Zone (CRZ) violations. It was then, when the sea-facing bungalow of the actor came under the IT radar. There is no confirmed statement on the new challenged posed by the IT department as of now.

On the work front, SRK is juggling between multiple scripts before finalizing and announcing one. His last flick, Zero, received a warm response from the fans at the box office. Despite his wonderful performance, the movie failed to create a mark and hence, the fans are hoping for the best from his next film. It was reported that he will be seen in an important role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's flick with Salman Khan but the confirmation is yet to be done.
