Shah Rukh Khan Finally Confirms Signing Rakesh Sharma Biopic, Saare Jahaan Se Achcha

Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his next release, Zero that also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles. While we hear stories about him reuniting with Salman Khan for a Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial, seems like it's still a far-fetched deal. Yes, unfortunately, the actor is not collaborating with his dear friend and he currently has his attention only on Saare Jahaan Se Achcha - a biopic on astronaut Rakesh Sharma. In his recent interaction with The Telegraph, SRK shared details of his next project. When asked if he's working on a Sanjay Leela Bhansali project with Salman Khan, the Raees star replied, "Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a fantastic director and he always has lots of stories to tell. He comes and tells me all his stories, lekin ye waali abhi tak bataya nahi hai usne. The only film that I am committed to doing right now is Mr Mahesh Mathai's Rakesh Sharma biopic (Saare Jahaan Se Achcha)". Going ahead he revealed he's eagerly waiting for filmmakers to offer him projects with his contemporaries. "If there is an opportunity to work with Salman or Aamir, why wouldn’t I jump at it? For me, it’s going to be a big deal. Earlier, producer Ronnie Screvwala had confirmed SRK's name for the project. He revealed that the star is very much on board but an official announcement will be made towards the end of this year. Saare Jahaan Se Achcha will start rolling in February 2019 and we can expect a release by 2020.
